Our Greatest Community Vision

Vision for Voices of Co-op City:

To Provide a safe place in Co-op City where all in the community can gather
informally, and to affirm their sense of creativity outside their home .

To Promote and encourage multicultural programs that are all inclusive of families seniors, and youth. A Co-op City community outreach program that shows promotes leadership and can better bridge the gap in the community.

To Serve as a multicultural resource and referral service to the community
at large. While sharing contemporary issues through inclusive organizational
connections of various cultural arts, literary programs and fundraising event.

To Create and Inspire various book discussions and lectures for all to enjoy.

Implement and Organize, independently or in collaboration with other
inclusive organizations, cultural performances, festivals, musical plays,
art and crafts exhibitions and other cultural and educational activities
for all in the community to enjoy and not just a chosen few.

Promote educational, creative social and fund raising events that would
enhance and enrich the lives of the people it serves in the community.

Offer adult literacy, and enrichment after-school programs that are
affordable and available with the working family and seniors in mind.

Thank you Lisa for caring for our community. We need a change for our community as well as for our children.

Please keep up the good work and I will spread the word to all that I know.

Many people are scared of change. But I believe change is good and it represents a new beginning.

You have my support and the support of my family. I to believe family is one of the most important things in life.
